What is a Friend of the Camp? Why become a Friend of the Camp? Roanoke Christian Camp is a viable and dynamic way to change peoples’ lives today. By becoming a Friend, you can be directly involved in ministering to hundreds of children and adults. Each summer approximately 1,000 kids attend Roanoke Christian Camp. In addition, area-wide retreats held at the Camp, including Ladies, and Senior Saints minister to hundreds of adults. There are also many volunteers who spend time preparing dorms in the spring, working as counselors or kitchen helpers in the summer, and helping with various improvements and activities year-round.  How can being a Friend help Roanoke Christian Camp?Through your support, prayers and gifts Roanoke Christian Camp can continue to develop this ministry into all that God wants it to be. Your partnership as a Friend of the Camp will enable the camp to maintain and improve programs, facilities, and recreational activities as well as add staff where needed. We are thankful for the generous support of so many faithful churches and individuals over the past 60 years. How do I become a Friend? Becoming a Friend is simple. Just fill out the form on this brochure and send it to the camp along with your first month’s gift as selected on the form. Please feel free to go in partnership with another individual — you could even get your Sunday School class or youth group involved. In appreciation you will receive a copy of our periodic newsletter to keep you up-to-date on camp news, events, and programs.  RCC encourages individuals to support their local church with their tithes and offerings. This gift to the camp should not replace one’s weekly support of the ministry of their home church.
