Day Camp: Steve Hill

Steve Hill was called by First Church of Christ in 1987 to be an Associate Minister, with an emphasis on Youth. As the Church grew, and more staff was added, he took the position of Associate Minister of Education and Worship. His current responsibilities with First Church include overseeing the Education Ministry, preaching,  teaching elective classes on Sunday and Wednesday evenings, and overseeing small group ministries.Steve has also been the director of the church's Living Christmas Tree program each year it has been presented. Upon the retirement of the Senior Minister, Ray West, in April of 2009, Steve will assume the Senior Minister position.

Steve is a 1977 graduate of Roanoke Bible College. His hobbies include working with computers, camping, and woodworking. Steve and his wife, Sherry, a network engineer with the school system, have been married 33 years.

Day Camp
A great day of fun under the "SON" has been planned for all the kids who come to our First Day Camp on Saturday, June 27.  Games, swimming, singing, crafts and a story time will make for a wonderful day.  Invite your friend and come  join us for a day at the camp
