Greta Lassiter: Day Camp
In 2003, I obtained degrees in Child Development and Family Relations as
well as Psychology from East Carolina University. Since then, I have
been blessed and dedicated to serving numerous families and children
in the special needs community. Currently, I hold the position of Early
Intervention Service Coordinator at the Greenville Children’s Developmental
Services Agency (CDSA). I serve and assist families of infants and toddlers
with special needs and developmental delays throughout Pitt County.
In addition to my position with the CDSA, I am also the part time Pre-K Director for University Church of Christ. I oversee all children’s classes and programs ages birth to kindergarten. It is through my position at University Church of Christ that I have earned my most valued credential and title thus far in my career as ‘Mrs. Greta’. Several times a week, I have the pleasure in witnessing the true meaning of Mark 10:15 (“I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it”). Witnessing the development of a child’s unquestionable love for Christ is an experience that everyone should be lucky enough to have.
