Stewart Woodley

Stewart Woodley grew up in Creswell, North Carolina, graduating from Creswell High School in 1985. He then went on to Johnson Bible College where he received degrees in both Communications and Youth Ministry/Christian Education in 1989.
Stewart then spent 4 years as Youth Minister at Hunter's Bridge Church of Christ but eventually moved to Greenville to attend graduate school at East Carolina University. He received a Master's Degree in History Education in 2002. Currently Stewart is the Senior Minister at University Church of Christ in Greenville where he has served for 16 years, the first 4 of which were as youth minister. Stewart has been married for 12 years to Stephanie Titus Woodley and they have two children, Caleb (8) and Samantha (6). Stewart has spent what seems like his whole life at Roanoke Christian Camp. He started as a camper in 1976 at the ripe old age of 9. His first year as a counselor was 1982 when he was 15 and has not missed a summer since, serving as a junior counselor, life guard, recreation director, and the last several years as dean of junior weeks of camp. Stewart currently serves on the Board of Directors of the camp and as a the dean of 2nd Junior Week. |
