Wilderness Adventure Week is our newest addition to the summer camp schedule. This off site week begins and ends at our facility but the majority of the time is spent in one of our National Parks. We leave on Monday and head for the mountains for four full days of base camping before we head back to Washington on Thursday.

This smaller and more intimate camping experience will have much of what the other camp weeks have: fun, games, devotions, worship, good food, and camp fires but it will be done while sleeping in tents in one of the most beautiful areas on the East Coast.

The added benefit will be that the campers will also be learning things like basic map reading, wilderness survival, hiking, and emergency first aid. We will not be spending any nights out on the trail but we will be doing some day hiking. This will be a memorable experience for all while simultaneously giving credit to the One who makes it all possible! What a great week!
