Roanoke Christian Service Camp needs some more “Friends”.
"Friends of the Camp” is a new
program being launched in 2005. The purpose of this program is to keep
more individual families in direct contact with the camp year round.
Why become a Friend?
By becoming a Friend, you can be directly involved in ministering to
hundreds of kids as well as adults. Last summer (2004) over 850 kids
came to Roanoke Christian Service Camp. When you add up the three
area-wide retreats held at the Camp (Ladies, Men and Senior Saints), we
had over 600 adults ministered to here as well. This doesn’t even count
the numerous volunteers who spend time here in the summer as counselors
or helping in the kitchen. Christian Camp remains a viable and dynamic
way to change peoples lives today.
How can being a Friend help
Roanoke Christian Service Camp?
Through your support, prayers and
gifts, Roanoke Christian Service Camp can continue to improve its
facilities and programs. Your partnership in this program will also
enable the camp to add more staff as well as new buildings and
recreational activities. We are thankful for the support of so many
faithful churches and individuals over the past 60 years. We want to
honor their contributions by continuing to develop this ministry into
all that God would want it to be.
How do I become a
Friend?
Becoming a Friend is
simple. Just fill out the form on this flyer and send it to the camp
along with your first month’s gift. Each month you will be mailed a
Friend’s newsletter and a self addressed stamped envelope. To be a
Friend we ask for a minimum monthly gift of $10. You can even go in
partnership with another individual or get your Sunday School classes or
your youth group involved. |
